Everything you need to know about the all-new 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe

The latest iteration of the Hyundai Santa Fe SUV is making its return, showcasing the next generation of technology and an upmarket feel. Its launch in Australia is scheduled for the first half of 2024 – so let the team at Frankston Hyundai know if you’d like us to keep you in the loop!

The Hyundai Santa Fe has been a popular family SUV with an expansive seven seats since it first debuted in the early 2000s, and it will continue this trend with a stunning new design that looks even more premium.

As an alternative to the upcoming all-electric Ioniq 7 SUV, the Santa Fe incorporates design elements inspired by the stunning Ioniq such as angular surfacing, a prominent front end, and a full-width LED light bar at the rear. However, there will be practical petrol engines available, including hybrid power.

Furthermore, the new Santa Fe’s wheelbase has been extended for increased interior comfort and room, complemented by substantial wheel arches accommodating 21-inch alloy wheels.

The new Santa Fe’s reinvented interior

The interior of the Hyundai Santa Fe emphasises usability and convenience, featuring physical buttons and dials for essential functions like climate control, radio, and drive mode adjustments. The cabin is equipped with numerous USB ports and wireless charging pads for mobile devices, along with ample storage compartments and cupholders for added practicality. Perfect for a bustling family!

Inside, the most notable change is the curved dual screen display reminiscent of luxury cars. The 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster is seamlessly connected to the central screen, which is expected to feature Hyundai’s latest infotainment system. The interior exudes sophistication with Nappa leather and wood finishes.

The central dashboard houses a sizeable control panel primarily responsible for climate control functions, equipped with physical dials and buttons for temperature and audio adjustments. The Santa Fe is set to be exclusively available as a seven-seater, with both the second and third rows capable of folding completely flat.

SangYup Lee, executive vice-president and head of Hyundai’s global design centre, said in a statement that the new model brings an even more adventurous design and capability than ever before.

“The all-new Santa Fe is an SUV that finds a perfect balance between city life and the great outdoors, handling everything from busy family itineraries to car camping adventures,” he said.

“With its longer wheelbase, roomy interior and terrace-like tailgate space, the new Santa Fe leans into its SUV strengths to offer more versatility than ever before as well as a premium customer experience.”
