A Hybrid First

The 2024 i30 Sedan now offers a choice of powertrains, including the new 1.6-litre four-cylinder petrol-electric hybrid engine. This hybrid variant boasts a six-speed dual-clutch transmission, a 32kW/170Nm electric motor, and a 1.32kWh battery. The best bit is that it achieves a claimed ADR Urban cycle fuel consumption figure of just 2.8 litres per 100km.

New 2024 i30 Lineup

The refreshed 2024 i30 Sedan lineup starts with the base i30 variant and the model progression includes Elite, Premium, N Line, and N Line Premium grades.

All models power the front wheel via an automatic transmission.

Styling updates

Styling updates for 2024 include LED headlights and DRLs, a wide horizontal grille in a Neotronic Black parametric pattern, connected by a chrome element, delivering a bold and progressive design inspired by Parametric Dynamics.

Interior enhancements

Step inside, and the 2024 Hyundai i30 Sedan offers a premium experience. The cabin features a wrap-around dashboard and central control, large digital displays, and a full-length horizontal air vent.

The interior design is complemented by contrasting stitch work on the door cards, lowered interior door handles, and a choice of upholstery with contrasting red stitching for N Line models.

Technology at the forefront

Connectivity receives a boost across the lineup. The second-tier Elite grade introduces Bluelink connected car services, an electrochromatic rear-view mirror, and LED rear positioning lights. The Premium grade adds features like Parking Collision Warning, Bose premium audio, blind-spot view monitor, 360-degree camera system, projection-type LED headlights, LED taillights, and a heated steering wheel.

Additional tech upgrades include a larger wireless device charging pad, front and rear USB-C outlets, and a new 4.2-inch instrument display on the entry grade i30.
